Serve The Children raised $75,000 at our 10th Annual Auction on May 4, 2013 at the STAR Center in Tacoma. Thank you to our auction sponsors, Key Insurance and Petroleum Buying Network. And to each guest, donor and volunteer!

Join us for a delightful evening of entertainment, dining, wine, a dessert auction and a live auction. Doors open at 5:00 p.m. and the program begins at 6:00 p.m.

We’ll be raising money to buy a dairy cow herd whose milk sales will support the Ankoor Children’s Home in India; and to complete our new 15 Gate school building in Liberia, West Africa.

LIVE AUCTION ITEMS:

1. One week in a one-bedroom oceanfront suite on Waikiki Beach in Hawaii. Available through January 2014. Donated by Shirley Winsley.

2. One week at an RCI Gold Crown five-star resort in Cabo, Mexico. Three bedrooms for up to eight guests. Many other locations also available. Available until February 2015. Donated by Steve and Barb Bristow.

3. A week in Maui in November 2013. Donated by Dee Robbins.

4. A Viking 30″ outdoor gas grill with cart. Donated by Kim Wie and Viking.

5. A gourmet dinner for eight people. Prepared by, hosted by, and donated by Doug and Lu Collier.

6. A side of beef (half a cow), approximately 300 pounds cut and wrapped. 100% USDA Choice, no hormones, no antibiotics, all natural, grain- and grass-fed. From Butcher Boys in Puyallup, Washington.

7. A two-hour customized family photo session for up to four people. Includes $100 print credit. Donated by Chelle Nicole Majeski.

Founded in 1996, Serve The Children exists to improve the future of children by meeting their educational, emotional and physical needs in a biblically based environment. Today we serve 1,400 children in India and Liberia.
